Basic element of every joomla site is an article. Article is carrier of information, images and other elements. To add an article in joomla 1.5 follow this steps

STEP 1.
In the Joomla 1.5 admin panel, go to Content – Article Manager

STEP 2.
Click on icon New to create your article

STEP 3.
Type and format text for your article

STEP 4.
Enter Title, Alias and Selection for your article

STEP 5.
Set option Published to Yes. If you want to show article on front page set option Front Page to Yes, and choose Category (in our example Uncategorized)

STEP 6.
Save settings
