Components are basic element in Joomla. You can install any kind of components depending of your needs. On the extensions.joomla.org you can find a categorie of components and download one you want. Installing components in joomla 1.5 is quite simple.  In a few steps we will show how to install component.

STEP 1.
In the Joomla 1.5 admin panel go to Extensions – Install / Unistall

STEP 2.
in the Upload Package File , go to Browse and select the component on your computer that you want to install and then click on Upload file & Install. In our example it is Ozio Gallery. Basicly component that you download and prepare for installation have prefix com_ (such as com_oziogallery-1.0.9)

STEP 3.
In Joomla 1.5 admin you will notice installed component and by clicking on it enter of set up panel of component.
