How to install module

Modules are basic element in joomla. You can add any kind of module depending of your needs. Installing modules in joomla 1.5 is quite simple. In a few steps we will show how to do this.

STEP 1.
In the Joomla 1.5 admin panel go to Extensions – Install / Unistall

STEP 2.
In the Upload Package File , go to Browse and select the module on your computer that you want to install and then click on Upload file & Install

Next what is needed to do is to set the parameters and the position of the modules, depending on your needs.

STEP 3.
In Joomla 1.5 admin panel go to Extensions – Module Manager

STEP 4.
Search for module you have installed and click on his name. In our example it is MyModule

STEP 5.
Set the Enabled option to Yes. Choose in the drop-down menu the position that you like to put module such as Position: Left

STEP6.
Save settings
